I met Joan of Arc, LA hills were ablaze,
An activist warrior in the twilight haze,
Smoke filled the air, a prophetic embrace,
She cut her hair short, left me in a daze.

Verse one
I walk backward in time, before the beginning,
‘It goes both ways, cupcake," she laughed, yo winning,
In circles we spin, yet nothing's the same
No more expectations, no more disappointments to claim.

Verse two
In a city veiled by night and pain,
I tethered my bike, whispered her name.
Met a wanderer in the cigarette's glow,
He asked, "Seeking refuge, don't you know?"

Verse three
No coin or crypto," I replied with care,
He grinned, "Doesn’t matter, if you dare."
We climbed to the crumbling hills so high,
Traded my hope for his cynical eye.

Chorus
We rise, we fall, we climb the wall
We dance, we dream, we tell the tale
Picking up the pieces, finding the light
In the broken shards of endless night
We dance, we dream, we lift the veil

Bridge
We rise, we fall, we climb the wall
We dance, we dream, we tell the tale
We dance, we dream, we lift the veil
She whispered someday we'd rise again
In a world reborn, where beauty begins
Clear skies above, rivers running free
Joan of Arc transmission channel vision I see

Screaming instrumental outro
